2 Timothy 4:2-4<\/cite> Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage\u2014with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Learn<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

What picture comes to your mind when you hear the name \u201cSatan\u201d or \u201cdevil\u201d? Many people think Satan is a red devil with fangs, but he is not. He is a beautiful angel who had to leave heaven because he was disobedient to God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the same way, the world is full of ugly lies that look like pretty truth. We can only tell what is true and false if we know the Bible well because it teaches us what is true. When we know the Truth, we can then recognise a lie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Word of God is a powerful weapon \u2013 the Bible calls it a sword. It is not the kind of sword you can hold in your hand. But when you go out to share the Gospel and win your friends for Christ, it is like fighting with Satan for them. Don\u2019t forget to fight with the Word of God! It is the only weapon that can cut through the lies and darkness of the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have been reading God’s Word every day, good job! If not, it is not too late to start now. Ask your parents or Sunday school teacher for a Bible reading plan you can do on your own or with friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be caught without your \u201csword\u201d, or the Word of God! It is too dangerous to fight the devil without your weapon! <\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
