Matthew 28:18-20<\/cite> Then Jesus came to them and said, \u201cAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.\u201d<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Learn<\/span><\/h2>\n

Have you heard of the Great Commission? It is to go and make disciples of all nations and to baptise them.<\/p>\n

Jesus gave this Great Commission to His 12 disciples who followed Him for three years. During these three years, Jesus changed 12 men who did not know Him to 12 disciples who would die for Him.<\/p>\n

Jesus did this by teaching them His ways, showing them by His example and living among them. Jesus told His disciples to make other new disciples in the same way.<\/p>\n

To turn Singapore to God, we must first evangelise \u2013 share the Good News of Jesus \u2013 then teach the new believers to become strong disciples.<\/p>\n

If we tell people about Jesus, but do not teach new Christians how to live in the way the Bible teaches us, they may leave Jesus after a while because they do not understand or believe God\u2019s promises.<\/p>\n

If we only teach Christians in church to become stronger disciples, we have forgotten about those outside the church who have not yet heard of Jesus.<\/p>\n

We must do both.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s share Jesus with those who are not Christians. Let\u2019s make them disciples by teaching them God\u2019s Word from the Bible and journeying with them so they can do the same for others.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
