- Have you resisted coming to Jesus? Do you take pride in doing everything by yourself with the gifts God has given you? As you reflect, ask the Lord to reveal to you His heart for you. Repent and come into His wonderful rest.
- Have you held on to the same yoke throughout your life despite the pain and suffering? Reflect on what motivates you to do so. Perhaps it is a lie that you have believed about yourself. Perhaps it is the fear of the unknown, or the inability to trust God more than you trust yourself. Why not let go and take the yoke of the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life?
- Have you leaned on your own understanding instead of trusting God and learning from Him? Reflect on the reasons why, and what has that stubbornness resulted in? His ways are higher than our ways, His wisdom is infinite. Come and learn from Him.

- For the weary and heavy laden in our society, that they may come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, the One who does the heavy lifting for them.
- For those who struggle to lean on God for all their needs because they fear being let down. Pray that God will show Himself strong on their behalf, that they can believe and trust that He is an ever-present help in times of need.
- For the ones who know Christ and yet struggle with the law, that they may truly understand and rejoice in the truth that Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfil it (Matthew 5:17).
