1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Young people, you are treasures in God’s Kingdom! Older people like your parents, grandparents, teachers and Pastors love you, but do not always understand you.

But we want to hear from you. We want to know how you feel, what excites your heart. We want to hear your ideas, your hopes, your dreams. We want to help you achieve those dreams. 

We want to understand you so that we can help you use your strengths to be useful to God. We want to do life with you to help build up your character. We want you to be the best person God made you to be!

We want to partner with you to reach out to other young people who don’t know Jesus. Together, we can tell them about Jesus, the Best Friend who always welcomes and never leaves.

  • Do you feel safe sharing your feelings and your thoughts with your parents, teachers or other adults? Why or why not?
  • Can you think of an older person in your life – your godmother, cousin, older sibling, schoolmate or church friend – whom you can share your thoughts and questions with honestly, and who can guide you on how to talk and behave “in love, faith and purity”, as today’s Bible verse says?
/ Pray
  • Pray for someone older whom you can read the Bible and learn more about God with.
  • Ask God to help each generation – young and old – to understand the other, enjoy each other’s company and pray for each other.
