Do you notice that you learn something faster when someone shows you how to do it, rather than just tells you?  

That is why Jesus washed the feet of His disciples – He wanted to show them what it means to serve and love one another. He used Himself as the example that His disciples could follow. 

Jesus is also teaching us to show in action, not just by words, how to be loving. 

You can tell your family and friends you love them, but it will mean nothing until you do something that proves what you say. It does not have to be big. You can do small things like offering to share your food with your friends or helping your parents wash the plates after dinner. 

When you do this, they will see that your love is real, not just talk. 

In the same way, you can show other young people in Singapore who God is. Let your life shine, so that they will not just hear the Gospel but will see God through your actions. 

One day, they may turn to Jesus because they see Jesus’ love in you!
