Family Devotion Day 12: Don’t let your weakness stop you

There was once an unpopular woman who did not have any friends. Yet, Jesus chose to meet her and tell her who He is: The Messiah.
When the woman met Jesus and experienced His love and power, she was so excited that she threw away her water jar and ran back to the village and told everyone about Him. Because of her, many people came to Jesus and believed in Him.
What about you? Have you met Jesus? Have you experienced His love? Why not tell your friends and your family all about Him? Why not share with them what Jesus has done in your life and in the life of others?
Maybe you are afraid no one will listen to you. But it does not matter. When you share, God will do the rest, just as He did with the words of the woman who told the villagers about Him.
Sharing the Gospel is not just for your Sunday School teachers, your Pastor or your parents. It is for everyone, including you.
What is the Gospel? It means Good News. It is Good News because Jesus died to pay for your sins, rose again after three days and now lives forever to save you.
That is a gift from God. We don’t have to work for it. We simply accept it by receiving Jesus into our hearts.
So don’t let your weaknesses or fears stop you from sharing the Good News!
