Romans 1:16<\/cite> For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In Romans 1:16, the apostle Paul boldly proclaims: <\/span>“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Let’s unpack that for a moment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul isn’t just making a statement; he’s declaring a truth. He’s saying that the Gospel \u2013 the Good News of Jesus Christ \u2013 is not just some nice story or ancient philosophy. It is the very power of God at work to bring salvation and transformation to people\u2019s lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gospel has the power to transform, to heal and to save.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve seen this power first-hand in my own life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I was lost and dead in my sin. But when I encountered the Gospel at the age of 13, everything changed. I was brought out of darkness into His light; from being lost into a life of purpose and meaning the way God intended for me to live.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, friends, this same power is available to each and every one of us. It doesn’t matter where you have come from or what you have done. No matter what you are going through right now, the Gospel is for you and it has the power to transform your life in ways you cannot even imagine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Believers, think about how God has saved and transformed you. May we always live in awe of His grace and power that has transformed our lives, and let\u2019s always seek to live out this new life we have in Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gospel has the power to transform, to heal and to save.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And here’s the thing \u2013 we can’t keep this power to ourselves. If this Gospel has the power to transform destinies, we must not be ashamed to share the Gospel!<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul declared that He is not ashamed of the Gospel. His conviction is clearly seen in Acts 20:24:<\/span><\/p>\n

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me \u2013 the task of testifying to the good news of God\u2019s grace.”<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have a responsibility to share the Good News to the watching world, especially the next generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Think about it. In a world filled with uncertainty, fear and doubt, Christians have something extraordinary to offer: A message of hope, redemption and eternal life.<\/span><\/p>\n

The gift of the Gospel<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Our young people are leaving the faith. Many of them are bombarded by distractions and temptations from the world. Being the most digitally connected generation, there is plenty of data showing a rise in anxiety, loneliness and pessimism about the future amongst the Gen Z and Gen Alpha.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They are searching for answers and the meaning of life in different places.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, friends, we have what they need.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have the power of the Gospel \u2013 the very thing that can fill the void in their hearts, give them purpose and set them on a path of righteousness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Good News of Jesus Christ is the very power of God at work to bring salvation and transformation to people\u2019s lives.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We have the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus, the one who can truly change their lives now and forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gospel was relevant thousands of years ago. <\/span>The Gospel has been relevant in our generation. <\/span>The Gospel is relevant for the next generation, because it still has the power to transform, to heal and to save.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, let us not be ashamed of this incredible gift we’ve been given. Let’s boldly proclaim the Gospel in our words and through our actions wherever we go.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us believe God for another revival amongst the young people in our nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s pray:<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear God, we thank You for what You have done for us on the cross. Because of that, we have eternal life.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

We know that the Gospel is still working within us, transforming us from the inside out. May we always live with gratitude in this new life You have given us.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

We pray also for the youths, that they will continue to experience the power of the Gospel. It is a message of hope, redemption and eternal life to their generation too.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Send us out; we are not ashamed of the Gospel.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

In Jesus’ name, Amen.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
